Mastered: Bus Driving and fundraising
Dave, from Stourbridge, has been a bus driver for over fifty years and every year he coordinates events to raise money for Russell’s Hall Hospital, the Royal British Legion, Macmillan Nurses and many others.
He is also renowned for cracking jokes and telling one liners to passengers and colleagues. He has so far raised over £22,000 for charity in 15 years, most recently by agreeing to not tell any jokes for a month!
Dave is a popular local character who’s always a hit with his passengers and last year was commended at the National Transport Awards as ‘Employee of the Year’ cementing his place as one of the finest bus drivers across the country.
