Rani is the longest serving Asian Police Officer for West Mids Police and has been serving the community for 30 years. As well as working on the beat she has worked closely with the Asian community and supported women in the region too.

Over Rani’s 30 year career with the police she has always worked across Wolverhampton’s many neighbourhoods and responded to a whole host of incidents.

PC Gundhu champions diversity and women as leaders for the force and was awarded a long service and good conduct police award in 2010.

She is currently part of the Wolverhampton Central team and is one of the leads that focusses on business crime in the area.

PC Gundhu is the only Asian female officer to have ever attained such a long service with West Midlands Police and has no plans to retire.
