What’s on at the Festival of Masters
Join us for a fun-packed day at Starworks Warehouse on Saturday 25th November. For one day the free Festival of Masters brings together one hundred individual experts under one roof with the public will getting the chance to get up close to some of the Masters who will be appearing at the festival.
All day
-Culinary master, James Swinburne of Digbeth Dining Club invites some of his favourite street food vendors for you to enjoy.
-Master landlord Jeet and friends pop up a desi pub, entertaining you with a bhangra party as they launch a limited edition of the desi pub book, the Black Country’s curry pub revolution.
-See Masters at work through a camera lens as photographer Laura Dicken documents workspaces of the Black Country’s master makers.
-A specially created Masters Village exhibiting artwork, craft and products including Turner Prize winning artists and the world’s greatest ever microsculptor.
-Beer enthusiasts delight as head brewer of Fixed Wheel Brewery, Scott Povey, keeps you fuelled with a selection of his award-winning ales.
-Experience virtual reality, 3D scanning, interactive projection mapping and soundscaping fun with digital mavericks, Urban Hax.
-Sit back and enjoy screenings from Flatpack with a film playlist inspired by the Black Country’s 100 Masters.
